Mike Adams discovered his love of electronic music in 1998 through the University of Western Australia's Electronic Music Appreciation Society who threw very underground parties around Perth.
He was immediately buying records to explore the new music and mixing within a year. During a 2001 posting to a remote mining town Mike started his own techno and house nights. On return to Perth Mike was asked to play at a number of tech-house bar nights during 2003 and 2004. In mid-2004 he emigrated to London, and was soon a regular at Heat UK's Thursday funky/electro-house night at Retox in Covent Garden. Playing a 2-3:30 am set at London's Attica Club was Mike's highlight before moving to Manchester in March 2005.
In Manchester, Mike has joined forces with Jon Smith, Mike Townsend & Dan Yuen to form 4:floor productions to contribute to Manchester's vibrant scene. Mike is also available for personal bookings.
