It all started back in 1998 when sam was asked by one of his friends to go to a club called the manor. Sasha and digweed were doing an allnite set it was then sam decided he wanted to become a dj. He got his decks and played about with them but it wasnt till about 2000 where he started 2 to get confident. He entered a dj comp called vinyl meltdown which was held at the wegdewood rooms in portsmouth.Sam was really into his hard house then. He played a 2omin set and the crowd love it but he finshed 2nd behide a funky house dj and diddnt make it through.In 2001 and 2002 he carried on with his hardhouse but it wasnt till 2003 when he went to ibiza that he disovered HOUSE MUSIC. As soon as he got back from ibiza he was down his local record shop spending hundreds of pounds on funky house. He entered vinyl meltdown again in 2004 which was held at vanilla bar he made it all the way to the final and finshed a very respected 3rd. That was when sam djing really took off he started to get noticed and bag himslef some sets at vanilla bar and punchfunk. In 2005 he was back in the comp but this was 2 be his last year he was gonna enter. It was held at the very plush drift bar and sam was now playing a more uplifting electro house style. He was very impressive though out the rounds and made it to the final it was very close but again miss out on first place. After the comp he was approach by a promoter who gave him a residency at a club called the red rooms. Where he played for a few months untill the club was sadly closed.He now has a residency at an up and coming nite in portsmouth called relentless which is really going well.
