House music: a mix of electronic dance, disco, funk, soul, jazz, and psychedelic rock may not be the first thing we think to turn to when searching for truth. But DJ Eric Rosen has taken house music, his turntables, and Torah along for his eleven-year journey of self-discovery.
Born to a musical family, Eric was raised on Israeli folk music, beating drums with his brother and playing guitar with his dad, so its not surprising that the roots of his his earliest memories on his dad's shoulders at folk dancing parties have blossomed into a unique juxtaposition of being an eclectic music selector and underground dance music authority in his own right.
For over 11 years, Eric Rosen has been a staple in the dance music communities of LA and Orange County. Often appearing alongside hims is his live percussion group, 12 Tribes Live Percussion Ensemble.
Eric's beats encompass the entire spectrum of dance music ranging from deep house music to Balearic disco, breakbeats, and classic San Francisco acid house. His mixing is flawless and he never drops the same set twice.
When he's not out saving the world one record at a time, Eric spends his time getting an MBA @ the Marshall school of business at the University of Southern California, is the Director of Marketing for Jewlicious Festivals and is also Director of Brand Marketing for Threaded Heritage Clothing.
